More than 150 of Team GB's volunteers for the London 2012 Olympic Games came together today (29^th Feb) for a training and team orientation session at Loughborough University, which will host the Team GB Preparation Camp prior to the Olympic Games this summer.

Borough residents are being invited to submit nominations for the annual Local Sport and Health Alliance sports awards. The celebration evening run by Hinckley and Bosworth Local Sport and Health Alliance, honours not only the achievements of individuals and teams but also the contribution made by the volunteers who help to run many of the clubs.
