The Inspire Programme is an opportunity for organisations across the UK to be officially recognised as part of the London 2012 Games - now.
Non-commercial organisations delivering projects and events genuinely inspired by the London 2012 Games, across sport, culture, education, sustainability, volunteering and business opportunties, can apply for the Inspire Mark. Cultural projects that are awarded the Inspire Mark will also be recognised as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
There are now over 190 Inspire Mark projects in the East Midlands region, including a large number of Leicester and Leicestershire projects and events. You can find out more about these projects by selecting from the menu on the left.
How to apply
Organisations applying should be free from commercial support, UK based and not for profit. Individual schools and colleges are not eligible for the Inspire programme but can get involved with the Games through the Get Set programme.
Each of the six themes has a few criteria your project needs to meet. More details about these criteria can be found here.
