The London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG) have revealed the route of the Olympic Torch Relay. The torch will pass through Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland on Monday 2^nd and Tuesday 3rd July on days 45 and 46 of the 70 day journey.

Come and celebrate the Olympic Torch visiting Leicester City on its route to London. A host of family fun activities and Entertainment at Abbey Park.

Details of the celebration event that will mark the arrival of the Olympic torch to Leicester on July 2nd have been announced by Leicester City Council. Abbey Park will be the setting for the free event, which will run from 4pm till 8pm.
